Piccadilly Radio 261 ("we", "us", "our") is an independent, non-profit heritage internet radio project based in the UK. This page explains what information we collect from visitors to piccadillyradio261.co.uk, why we collect it, and how we look after it.
What we collect
We only collect the minimum information needed to run the site and services below:
- Newsletter sign-up: if you subscribe, we collect your email address so we can send you station news, playlists, and updates.
- Contact form: if you message us, we collect your name, email address, and message content to reply to you.
- Donations: if you donate, payment details are processed securely by our payment provider — we do not store your card details ourselves.
- Basic usage data: like most websites, our hosting provider automatically logs standard technical information (such as IP address and browser type) for security and performance purposes.
How we use your information
We use the information above only to: send newsletter updates to subscribers, respond to enquiries sent via our contact form, process and acknowledge donations, and keep the site secure and running properly. We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.
Cookies
Our site may use small technical cookies necessary for basic functionality, such as remembering your volume setting on the radio player. We do not currently use advertising or tracking cookies.
Third-party services
We use trusted third-party services to help run the station, including our live audio streaming provider and payment processor for donations. These providers have their own privacy policies governing how they handle data passed to them.
